Dr. Victor Aguilar is a Spanish gastroenterologist.
Specialist in Digestive System at HC Marbella, Dr. Aguilar Urbano has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of Malaga, specializing in Digestive System. A pioneer in Spain in performing the MUSE technique for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux, he is currently the specialist with the largest number of this type of interventions in the country. In 2014 he obtained his doctorate with his doctoral thesis: “Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis in the adult population with features of metabolic syndrome” with an Outstanding Cum Laude rating. In addition, the doctor is specialized in Nutrition and Dietetics and in Nutritional Pathology. In 2011 he received the award for best clinical article in RAPonline magazine for: “Role of dual-channel esophageal PH-metry in patients with GERD symptoms in the respiratory and ENT field.”
