Sanne Sibree-Paul (Maiden name Mortensen) is Danish and she started on her physiotherapy degree at the School of Health and Social Care at Sheffield Hallam University, England. She qualified in 2001 and achieved a first-class degree in BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists in the UK and in Spain she is fully registered with the Ilustre Colegio de Fisioterapeutas de Andalucia with the number 2066. Additionally she achieved a Master in Physiotherapy for Pelvic floor Dysfunctions at Malaga University in 2012.
Sanne has more than 20 years of experience in the private sector as well as the NHS in the UK and has worked for several years in Spain in both Spanish and ex-pat clinics. She is extremely experienced in all musculo-skeletal conditions and injuries, such as low back pain, sciatica, road traffic accidents, arthritis, ligament tears, shoulder impingements, tendinitis, sprains, strains, fractures, muscle imbalances etc. as well as post-operative rehabilitation after all orthopaedic operations. Furthermore she treats patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and strokes (CVA’s). She has recently specialised in the treatment of pelvic floor disorders. Sanne uses manual therapy, joint mobilisations, electrotherapy, exercise therapy, postural and ergonomic assessments, muscle energy techniques, kinesio taping and thermal therapy as her main treatment methods following a thorough assessment of the patient.
She spends her free time with her 2 children.
